Board, commission appointments made

GONZALES — Gonzales City Council this week appointed/reappointed members to serve on various boards and commissions. The vacancies were applied for in writing, by current and hopeful members.
Appointments/reappointments were:

• Gonzales Visitor and Convention Bureau – Holly Danz, Paul Frenzel, Barbara Crozier and Dawn O'Donnell
• Gonzales Economic Development Corporation – Crissy O'Neal, Dewey Smith and Steve Sucher
• Gonzales Golf Course Advisory Board – Erwin Ckodre and Jon Such
• J.B. Wells Advisory Board – Tracey Machart, Kevin LaFleur, Sissy Mills and Allison Davis
• Gonzales Library Board – Noell Ince, Erwin Ckodre, Martha Jo Whitt, and Vicki Frenzel
• Gonzales Main Street Advisory Board – Debbie Toliver, Carlos Camarillo, Shelli Schellenburg, Sherri VanKirk and Suzanne Zaitz
• Planning and Zoning Commission – Charles Patterson, Roland Martinez and Tim Gescheidle (until an appointment is made) 
• Zoning Board of Adjustments and Sign Control – Kenneth Moore, Vicki Frenzel, Ray Raley and Manuel Pena Jr

Ellen Kinnard submitted a letter to serve on the Gonzales Library Board, but was passed over. Gonzales Mayor Connie Kacir said she would like to see Kinnard approached about serving on another board or commission.
