Betty Jean Murdock Campbell

Betty Jean Murdock Campbell, 75, of Gonzales, passed away Sunday, May 19. She was born Jan. 1, 1944 in Floresville the daughter of Elmer R. and Eddie Mae Hollingsworth Cox. She married John Maurice Campbell and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her sons: Mark Allen Campbell of Cibolo and John Michael Campbell of Gonzales; brother Dwight Randall Cox of Canyon Lake; grandchildren: James Michael Campbell, Cherise Jeanette Campbell, Melissa Dianne Campbell, Danelle Lorraine Campbell, Shawna Michelle Campbell, Ian Marshall Campbell, Daniel Lawrence Arnold, Amanda Goshien, Christopher Allen Campbell, Jessica Lynn Campbell, Kyle Anthony Krencesky, Kevin Patrick Campbell and Kaelin Donn D’Amico. Also surviving are numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Debbie Jean Arnold, son Dwayne Maurice Campbell, sister Jo Nell Walpole and brothers Tommy Rae Cox and James Ronald Cox. Memorial services and interment will be held at a later date.
