GERONIMO -- The new-look Apaches offense is shining in the first half with Gonzales beating the home Navarro Panthers 28-12 in the first half.

Five different rushers have rushed the ball for Gonzales with scores from James Martinez, Ja’Corveon Walton and Elijah Holiday. The team has rushed for over 190 yards in the first half.

Senior quarterback Marvin Cardoza is a perfect 3-for-3 for 50 yards passing, including a 22-yard touchdown throw to Matthew Velasquez-Banda.

The Apaches are set to receive the ball at the start of the third quarter.
