4 Gonzales County athletes set for rodeo finals

The Texas High School Rodeo Association kicked off its 2017 state finals as Gonzales County will be represented by four athletes at the rodeo in Abilene.
Cost’s Cullen Eppright will take on calf roping Tuesday morning and Thursday morning. He’s the lone cowboy from Cost.
Meanwhile, Gonzales will have three representatives in Taylor Glass, Sadie Thibodeaux and Miles Svoboda.
Glass takes on goat tying on Tuesday morning and Wednesday night. Thibodeaux took on pole bending, though results of her first go from Monday were unavailable before press time, her second go will be Friday morning. Svoboda will take on steer wrestling on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning.
