Cardinals run-rule San Marcos Hill Country

SHINER — The Cardinals hosted San Marcos Hill Country Christian (SMHCC) on Tuesday, beating them 11-1 in District 5-1A/2A play.
Shiner St. Paul’s Conor Kresta pitched the complete game, going five innings in the win. He struck out 10, walked three and gave up one hit and one unearned run.
At the plate Marco Ynclan, Austin Barton and Conor Kresta each led with two RBIs each. Alex Hull and Jacob Darilek both had one as well. Kresta also plated twice while Reagan Beal made it safely home twice. The Cardinals combined for eight walks for the night. Kresta went 1-for-2 with a triple.
Shiner St. Paul (6-3) takes on San Antonio Lutheran (4-4) at home tonight with first pitch scheduled at 5:30 p.m.
