PBR Gonzales

It’s that time of year again when man will battle against beast in Gonzales.

This Saturday, July 13 the Professional Bull Riding (PBR) Gonzales event will take place at the J.B. Wells Arena.

Pre-sale tickets leading up to July 12 are $20 per adult and $8 per child. Ticket locations for pre-sale are at E Barr Feeds and the Gonzales Chamber of Commerce. Tickets at the gate will be sold for $25 per adult and $10 per child.

PBR Gonzales will also be having a Calcutta at the Running M Bar & Grill on Thursday, July 11 at 7 p.m. They will be selling 35 riders that will be competing at the J.B. Wells Arena. Six places will be paid out at the after party at the Running M Bar & Grill.

The annual “Rider Cup” golf tournament will take place at the Independence Golf Course Saturday, July 13 at 10 a.m.

The doors will open for the event at 5:30 p.m. where there will be music, vendor booths, a bouncy with a photo bull and a mechanical bull. Mutton Busting, where children ride or race sheep, will also be taking place before the show gets underway at 7:30 p.m.
