Anthony Rosas, 45, of Seguin, formerly of Gonzales, passed away Monday, March 20. He was born November 27, 1971 in San Antonio, the son of Tony and Lupe Arrellano Rosas.

He attended Gonzales schools. He married Rebecca Gonzales August 27, 2008 in Gonzales. He worked in construction and did remodeling and renovations.

Anthony was a diehard fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs. He collected sports memorabilia, including a large jersey collection. He enjoyed rock bands, especially Iron Maiden and oldies, and collected several albums over the years of many rock groups. He and his family enjoyed traveling Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico. He loved meeting new people and exploring the countryside. He always knew something about everywhere he traveled, he was very interested in history. Most of all he was an “Amazing Dad”, he was very devoted to his “Angel Baby” Angelina.

He is survived by his wife Rebecca Rosas of Seguin, daughter Angelina Rosas of Seguin, mother Lupe Silva of Gonzales, sister Yolanda Esparza of Seguin and brother Jimmy Rosas of Gonzales. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and brother Martin Rosas. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 22 with the rosary being recited at 7 p.m. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 23 at St. James Catholic Cemetery with Reverend Paul Raaz officiating. Pallbearers include Jimmy DeLeon, Chris Molina, Domingo Proa, Sonny Ramirez, Freddie Fonseca and Eric Camarillo. Honorary pallbearers include Jimmy Rosas, Gregory Fonseca and Juanio Fonseca. Arrangements under the care and direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home, Gonzales, TX.
