Patsy Ann Null

Patsy Ann Null, 63, of Shiner, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Shiner Nursing Home in Shiner. Patsy was born in Gonzales on June 5, 1952, the daughter of Ralph Carlton Null, Sr. and Christine (Schutz) Morris at Crew Hospital.

Patsy lived most of her life in and around Gonzales. She graduated Waelder High School in 1970. She enjoyed living in Shiner in Lavaca County with her daughter, Robin, and her grandson, Zane. 

Patsy loved spending quality time with her family and friends. She was a very friendly and caring person who loved to joke around and laugh. She adored her daughter and was proud of all her accomplishments. Patsy took great pride and joy in seeing her grandson grow from an infant to a strong young man. 

She is survived by daughters, Robin Michelle (Null) Rhodes of Shiner and Dannette Null, who was born Jan. 2, 1979 in Austin, given up at birth, but loved and thought about (Patsy worried about her well-being and health, always as a mother would); grandson, Zane Dagan Rhodes of Shiner; brother, Ralph Null, Jr. and wife, Nancy, of Gonzales; three sisters, Susan Hurst and husband, Floyd, of Nixon, Sandy Wilke and husband, Allen, of Cost and Kathy Phillips and husband, Tim, of Luling; step-sisters, Jeanie Pierce of Yoakum and Patricia Pierce of Gonzales; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Ruby (Gossett) Null; and step-brother, Larry Burel Pierce.

A gathering will be held at a later date for family and friends to celebrate the life of Patsy Null.
