Earl Heinsohn, 70, of Shiner, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012.

He was born Feb. 24, 1942, in Shiner to Oliver Joseph and Hattie Elizabeth Gloor Heinsohn. He was retired from the trucking industry, and was a member of United Evangelical Lutheran Dr. Martin Luther Church and Texas Exes Association.

Survivors include his wife, Betty, daughters Holly Heinsohn Kropp and husband Richard, and Heather Heinsohn Olivarez and husband Jeff, all of Shiner; grandchildren Braden Heinsohn Kropp, Jaycee Loewe and Ava Olivarez; sister Jean Uthoff of Victoria and nephew Stephen Buckert of Katy.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew Robert Buckert.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, at United Evangelical Lutheran Dr. Martin Luther Church with Rev. Elaine M. Gomulka officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Howard Gloor, Dr. Joe Boehm, Stayton “Pal” Lester, Clarence Littlefield, Richard Kropp, Jeff Olivarez, Braden Kropp, Stephen Buckert, Ben Dusek, Robert Zissa and Robert Mikes. Memorial contributions may be given to the church, Matthew Pohler fund or the donor’s choice. Online guest book may be signed at www.thielecooper.com.
