James Wendel “Bud” Littlefield

James Wendel “Bud” Littlefield, 72, of Austin and formerly of Leesville, died Dec. 16, 2013. He was born in Nixon on March 16, 1941 to William Hugo and Mollie (Hensley) Littlefield. Bud is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William M. Littlefield. He is survived by his brother, H.T. Littlefield and wife Kathy of San Antonio; three sisters, Alice Kelly and husband Jim of Plano, Mary Sue Sumbera of Victoria, Mollie Linda Angelo of Eagle Lake; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

Visitation was held Wednesday, Dec. 18 from 1- 2 p.m. at Finch Funeral Chapel of Nixon followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. The Rev. Michael Cowey officiated, with burial at the Leesville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
