Helen Ruth Priem Low

Helen Ruth Priem Low, 72, of Gonzales, passed away Monday, Jan. 19, 2015. She was born Aug. 15, 1942 in Pflugerville, the daughter of August Henry and Hilda Ehrhardt Priem. She worked as a hairdresser for many years in Gonzales. She enjoyed listening to old music, especially Elvis. 

She crocheted and loved travelling with the XYZ bus trips. She is survived by her sons, Robert Wayne Low and wife Brandy of Cost and William David Low and Frances Espinoza of Gonzales; sisters, Gladys Hill of Austin and Marie Smith of Georgetown; grandchildren, Caden Royce Low, Lindsey Brooke Low, Jonah Michael Goodwin and Nicholas Espinoza. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Marvin Priem. 

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 23 at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home with Reverend Ildiko Rigney officiating. Interment will follow at the Gonzales Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers include James Patterson, Ken DuBose, Jimmy Mills, Brian Gibson, David B. Kuntschik and Wes Davis and honorary pallbearer is Gerald Patterson.
