Vernon Sessions

Vernon Sessions was born the son of Albert Vernon Sessions and Fanny Vida O’Neal on April 7, 1932 in Gonzales County and died on October 13, 2013 at his home in Bellville, Texas.  

Vernon is survived by his wife, Lois Jane (Simler) Sessions of 55 years; daughter Mary Ann Noble of Victoria Texas; son James “Jim” Allen Sessions of Cypress Texas; sisters Vera Caraway and Vida Tindle of Gonzales County, Texas; and 6 grandchildren.  

Vernon was a Southwest Texas Graduate, Korean War Veteran and worked in the Gregory Portland School District for 34 years before retiring in 1994.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and wood and metal working in his workshop. He will be greatly missed by his wife, family and friends.
