Doris Landbeck Fowlkes

Doris Landbeck Fowlkes passed away on February 6, 2015 in Santa Rosa, CA at age 77. She was born July 18th, 1837 in Gonzales, TX to Wilbert and Adella Landbeck. She was married to Jack Fowlkes for 50 years, and raised one son, Eric. They lived in Half Moon Bay, CA and helped charter the Coastside Lutheran Church. Doris retired after being a legal secretary for 40 years, the last 27 years for the San Mateo County Superior Court. She has lived in Sonoma County for the last 18 years and was an associate member of the Santa Rosa International Order of the Odd Fellows, Lodge 53, and held state offices in the Rebeccas, Lodge 74. She is survived by her son, Eric, her grandsons, Austin Fowlkes and Adam Gutsch, and her sister, Linda Walter of La Grange, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 28 at Cross and Crown Lutheran Church, 5475 Snyder Lane in Rohnert Park, where she was an active member for many years.
