Vendors offering wedding, prom & spring fashions

Posted

Spring begins March 20. Proms are not far behind. And there may be those with a wedding date on the horizon.

That’s why there’s “Gittin’ Hitched” 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at Victoria College Gonzales Center.

“Gittin’ Hitched” is more than just a bridal fair. It’s also for those ready to start shopping for prom dresses and the latest in spring fashions. And it’s all under one roof with more than a dozen vendors on hand to help you with wedding plans, dresses, photography, venues and so much more.

Pioneer Village Living History Center, Victoria College Gonzales Center and The Gonzales Inquirer are sponsoring the day-long event to highlight the excitement and grandeur of the rites of spring. And vendors from throughout the area want to show off their formalwear, spring fashions, cosmetics and catering possibilities.

Vendors which will be set up in the Great Room at Victoria College include The Bridal Rail, Novedades Maria Norma, The Venue, Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union, Mary Kay cosmetics, The Gonzales Venue, Photographi by Shelli, Celebrating Home, 4D Guest Ranch, Capturing God’s Beauty, Darcy’s Vineyard, H-E-B, Rose Garden Village, Pioneer Village, Victoria College and the Inquirer.

In addition to being able to visit with lots of vendors ready to help with prom and wedding plans, hourly door prizes will be given away throughout the day from participating vendors.

Admission to this once-a-year event is $3 per person. A portion of the booth rental fee and all of the admission proceeds go to benefit Pioneer Village.

A special 16-page section about the “Gittin’ Hitched” event is included in today’s issue of the Inquirer.
