Skyrockets, missiles banned in county
Gonzales County commissioners on Monday voted unanimously in approval of a fireworks ban effective as of Dec. 10.
The ban prohibits anyone from being able to sell, detonate, ignite or in any way use fireworks classified as “skyrockets with sticks” or “missiles with fins” in unincorporated areas of Gonzales County.
If you’re thinking about setting off fireworks to celebrate the arrival of 2013, you might want to reconsider.
