A ribbon cutting was held at Jim H. Wilson Company, LLC on Wednesday. Jimco is a railcar dismantling company that began construction in Gonzales in May. The company purchased 32 acres from Texas Gonzales & Northern Railway Company north of Gonzales. Representatives from Jimco sated that purchasing the land from the railway company enabled them to build a railroad spur onto their property. “The relationship we developed over the last eight or nine months has been terrific,” said Charles Quintero, CFO of Jimco. The company currently has 23 employees and they are hoping that number will grow to 30 or more by Spring of 2011. Pictured are (back row, from left): Carlos Herrera with BANG Electric; Jim H.
