2011 Waelder Livestock Show rings in $24,114

The 2011 Waelder Livestock show went off without a hitch and in the process, the sale rang in $24,114 total to youth in Waelder 4-H.

Marissa Ramirez cashed in on the big prize, ending up with $2,515 for her Grand Champion Market Swine. Gonzales Building Center was the premium buyer with $1,000.

Malorie Puente won Reserve Grand Champion Market Swine, bringing in a total of $2,200 with the premium buyer being GVTC.

A total of 18 individuals placed or won blue ribbons at the annual Waelder Livestock Show.
