Subdivision approved

GONZALES – County Commissioners Court approved phase one of the High Ridge Meadows subdivision Monday, Aug. 26.
The subdivision will consist of 24 lots that are roughly two acres each, located in Precinct 2 about five miles north of Gonzales on Highway 304. There are tentative plans to add another phase to the project, which could increase the total number of available lots to as high as 50.
“I think it is needed,” Emergency Management Coordinator Jimmy Harless said. “We’ve got a lot of RVs already but no subdivisions where they can sell lots. I think this will be a lucrative project.”
