Nevlud~Hanson

Bobby and Glenda Nevlud of Shiner would like to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter Kayla Elizabeth of Shiner to Justin Michael Hanson of Gonzales. Justin is the son of Mike and Melissa Hanson of Gonzales. The bride-elect’s grandparents are Glenn and Anita Schulte of Yoakum and Robert and Margie Nevlud of Shiner. The prospective groom is the grandson of Joy and the late Otto Hanson of Austin and Paul and Earleen Hudson of Gonzales.

Kayla is a 2008 graduate of Shiner High School and a 2014 graduate of Victoria College with an associates degree in science. She is currently attending the University of Houston at Victoria to obtain her bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies so she can become a teacher.

Justin is a 2004 graduate of Akins High School of Austin and a 2008 graduate of Victoria College with a degree in welding.

The couple is to be married Saturday, Oct. 25 at 2 p.m. at St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner. The officiant will be Father Kirby Hlavaty.
