James and Darlene DuBose

James and Darlene DuBose celebrated 50 years of marriage on Feb. 5, 2011. They were married Feb. 5, 1961 in the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. H.R. Larison in Kingsbury, and have lived in Gonzales for 49 years. James and Darlene owned and operated an appliance store sales and service for 25 years, and later on went into the rental business. They had three children: Son James Elton DuBose (deceased), daughter Denise Ann Coburn of Temple, and Donna Marie Wurst of Buda. They have five grandchildren: Justin Coburn, Kelsie DuBose, Kala DuBose, Madison Griffin and Leila Wurst. Also one great-grandchild, Madelyn Bowman.
